She's 47, and that's just one side of her!

News of The Worlds negative article on Susan Boyle

It’s a well known fact that The Sun or News of The World (who is owned by the same people) are great sources for false information, but I couldn’t let this pass.

Whilst some parts cannot either be confirmed nor denied, there are at least three parts where information about Susan Boyle has been manipulated. You can find the article here: Boyle Fatigue.

1) The first image in the article has the caption “BEATEN: Glum Susan faces up to defeat on last night’s show”.

Wrong! Susan made that face after it was announced she had been picked as one of the three winners (as if it was a surprise anyway). In fact, she cheered the winners and it’s been reported she was even more gracious backstage.

2) “Susan was even BOOED by a small section of the TV audience last night.”

This is tricky. Susan was only booed when judge Piers Morgan said that he wasn’t suppose to favour anyone and be impartial and choose Susan to win. This understandably drew boos from family, friends and fans of other acts (some of whom had not even appeared yet for Piers to make such a bold statement).

And finally …

3) ” … she let rip with a foul-mouthed tirade against two fans and had to be calmed down by police.”

These so called “two fans” were, according to a spokesman, “two journalists” (probably from The Sun)  and that they were “harrasing her” and leaving her distressed. The journalists were then removed from the building by the police. Of course, none of this is mentioned in the news papers which is even more evidence that it could’ve been their journalists behind this.

The Sun has also recently mentioned that Susan had to have someone arrange a phone call with her cat called Pebbles so she could hear the animal purr. Whilst Susan does have some childlike features (which, of course, adds to her wonderful character), this information was coming from The Sun making something as stupid sounding as this quite hard to believe.

The Sun should be sued right up to their hips, not that it will stop them.

It is widely accepted that the sun is just one of many comics. I blame the news agents for putting it on the same shelf as newspapers instead of the shelf displaying it’s peer group such as the Beano or Mad magazine.
Surely no-one really expects the sun to spoil a story by reporting facts!

Ah the Sun!!! Excuse the smell when I pronounce the name of that rag…what a shame that trees have to die so that the Sun can print their trash.
Susan to me you are the real winner. I really hope you make a speedy recovery soon and can share your beautiful voice with us again, XXXX

Susan Boyle,
Why is everyone so suprised? The three judges on Britain’s Got Talent were completely shocked by her performance. They expected her to be laughable. Why, when they had never heard her sing? It’s because they considered her to be ugly, which means (in reality) that they consider themselves to be beautiful. Well, let me assure you, Susan Boyle is not ugly. Simon Cowel and his self adoring associates are ugly. Susan Boyle is one of the truely beautiful people and is adored by many … me included. Wake up.

Thank you for printing this. I get so angry over all the lies and innuendos about Susan. I hope she is obeying Piers and Simon and NOT READING any of this trash. I have made a chart of the BGT Tours and a lot of the venues are hundreds of miles apart, necessitating airplane travel and/or tour bus travel. All of that is tiring in itself, plus being in a diff hotel every night, new place. Most have family. Susan has no one. I think she is extremely brave to have carried on this far. Not to mention a fabulous singer. I look forward to her budding career and to the tabloids having it shoved down their presses!

I am watching the TV prgramme and it is super.

Would Susan have one the X Factor if her line had not been busy for the voting?

Listening to Susans’ wonderful new album transports me back to the first time I heard her sing and the same tingling joyful feeling, congratulations Susan on a job well done. Whatever else you do in life, do not give up singing.
